Hangovers are just awful! They happen due to dehydration, buildup of the toxic metabolite of alcohol, acetaldehyde, and oxidative damage/inflammation of the liver cells due to exposure to the toxic metabolites of alcohol. The good news…there is a lot we can do to prevent and treat hangovers by addressing the reasons they occur. Staying hydrated and supporting liver detox pathways, so you clear out those metabolites quicker while maintaining high stores of antioxidants, will protect you and make the next day so much better!
“Hi everyone, welcome back, Dr. Angela here with you.”
“Hi, I’m Dr. Patti.”
“In this video we’re gonna talk about holiday hangovers. It’s definitely a time of year where some of us have a little bit more (alcohol) than we typically would…parties, social functions… so, we’re gonna talk about how to prevent a miserable hangover.”
“We hope you’ve enjoyed this video. May you have fun celebrating life! And if you use alcohol, may this keep your liver happy and high functioning so that you will be the next day too! Share this video with those who you love!”
